I feel I write best after contemplation. After those periods of time when I'm striving to understand something higher than myself. Perhaps its a sort of grasping of some universal muse and interpreting the infinite in my own terms.
Does that make sense at all?
Pete...interesting to hear about your striving and grasping for your muse. Also, I like your idea of "interpreting" the infinite in your own terms. In my music, I often interpret the infinite in my own terms as well, and it brings a real sense of completion and depth in my life. It is a real joy for me to share my creativity with others! At any rate, writing anything interesting right now that you'd care to tell us about?
I'm working on a couple screenplays. One is a sort of thriller/survival story with a supernatural element that I think is working pretty well. The other is an adaptation of a 1949 sci-fi novel.
